Dr James Foulds

Dr James Foulds is a forensic psychiatrist in Christchurch, New Zealand and senior lecturer in psychological medicine at the University of Otago. He convenes medical student teaching in addiction medicine and teaches about alcohol problems in the local general practice registrar training programme.

His publications focus on the epidemiology, etiology and clinical management of patients with substance use disorders and coexisting problems. In particular, he has reported on the role of medications including antidepressants in patients with comorbidity.
